We are currently looking for a Field Service Tech with Carpentry experience to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will focus on:
Responsibilities:
- The position requires excellent interpersonal and professional interaction when communicating with customers, including but not limited to the homeowner, contractor, and vendors.
- Travel to job sites to perform service work requests requiring repairs, replacement, or touch-ups of door unit components.
- Responsible for assembling semi-custom – level 2 single-door units
- Prep the material for assembly using exact measurements
- Must be capable of operating several different saws to cut material
- Must have the ability to read work orders to ensure assembly accuracy.
- Make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure the quality of the product.
- Utilize the Field Service Software to communicate activities and complete updates on work performed.
- Provide no-charge warranty work and “service for a fee,” which requires field evaluations, quote generation, and processing of credit card payments when required.
Qualifications:
- May require occasional overnight stays dependent on installation location.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Manufacturing experience of doors (Plus)
- Outstanding artisanship (experience in finish carpentry with an emphasis on millwork and trim is preferred.)
- Ability to work from ladders and lifts at various heights.
- Lifting and maneuvering heavy objects exceeding 100 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
